I did my first practicum period at "Escuela de Educación Inicial y Primaria-UNS" in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires. This is a high prestige public school, due to its excellent educational level. The school is located near the centre of the town, and it consists of 150 students in Kindergarten; 300 students in primary school; and 26 students per class.
As in kindergarten English is not part of the Curriculum, I did my practicum period in a 1st grade. Primary classrooms are situated in the first floor, where also there is a library where we could go to use the TV to watch different videos.
As regards the group of students I worked with, they were six years old, and it was a nice group to share this experience with. Students were quiet, they had a good relationship between each other and also, they were willing to play and participate among the activities.
So, I can say that doing this period was a great experience! kids are lovely, and willing to learn and enjoy English lessons!
