As regards my studies, I started learning English at the age of 5 when my parents decided to send me to a bilingual school. "Juan Jose Passo" is a private school where English plays an important role and is taught from kindergarten. Then, at primary school, I attended English in two different subjects. "Ingles Curricular"; that is the one included in the "Diseño curricular", that all private and public school must teach two hours per week; and "Ingles Extra Curricular" which comprises an hour per day; five hours per week. So, after finishing Secondary school at that institution, I was supposed to finish with a 6th seniors English level.
Unfortunately, I couldn't continue my studies at that school since it cost a lot of money, so I had to start Secondary school at a public institution. However, as it would be a pity to not continue learning the language, I could assist to a private institute until I attended 6th Seniors level.
As you don't may expect, when finishing secondary school, being an English teacher was not in my plans. I started studying chemistry at the university but after two years I realized I didn't like it. However, by the time, I'd always helped peers or relatives when having problems with the English language and I really enjoyed "teaching" them.
One day, after "teaching" my cousin, and knowing that he had had excellent results in his exams, I resolved to start the course of studies to be an English teacher. So, at the age of 23 I began the "Profesorado" at "Insituto Avanza" here in Bahía Blanca. After studying there for two years, I came across "Insituto Lenguas Vivas" when a peer told me her nephew was studying there. So, in 2011 my journey began...
